Annual Awards Day - 2013

Sussex College Ratnapura

The annual Awards Day was held on 04^th April 2013 with the founder Chairman Mr. K.A Sunil Jayatissa as the Chief Guest. The additional Magistrate Mrs Priyanka Gunawarnasooriya, The Principal of Gankanda Madhya Maha Vidyalaya Mr Neel Wathukarawatta and the Provincial Minister Mr.Bhanu Munippriya from the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council participated as special invitees.

Students who had excelled in their studies and those who had displayed outstanding performances in co-curricular and extra- curricular activities received their prizes, certificates and trophies from the Chief Guest.

This spectacular event was mingled with various entertainment items organized by the aesthetic section.

Our Founder and the chairman Mr. K.A. Sunil Jayatissa celebrated his 54^th Birthday on 14^th March 2013.To Mark up the celebrations the management and the staff arranged chanting “Seth Pirith” by Maha Sanga to invoke blessings to our beloved chairman sir and followed with a small get together at the Sussex head office Walauwaththa Nugegoda.
